Hi my name is Angie and i am 20 years old. In November of 2002 I had a surgery done called a Leep. I have been trying to get into the Air Force for the past two months. My recruiter told me everything should be fine and i should be in shortly. Well they sent my med records to the SG and they approved me to go. Well i just got back from MEPS today and completed my physical and they told me i had two wait anoher two weeks because they have to send my papers back to the SG. I was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced this? And do i still have a chance to join? Thanks.

Hi, my name is Beth and I have been in the AF for nine years. I too had the LEEP done and they said that it is very common in young women now a days and it will not affect me in the future for any physicals. So maybe they messed up your paperwork (which happens way too often..so always keep copies for yourself)and had to send it again. Don't worry too much, they will get you in!
