Hello,

First I want to thank every single one of you who are protecting our country, you guys are an asset to this country and you deserve the best. God Bless you all!! My question is, I'm currently a senior in high school, who is seriously comtemplating getting into the AF, and I really want to be a nurse, and I think that through the community college I could get an RN at the end of two years of studying leaving me with an Associates...could I enter the Air Force as a second-class Lieutenant, or do I still need to have a Bachelors degree even though I'd have an RN?? Thanks to any responses

You'd have to have a Bachelor's to enter as a 2nd Lieutenant. If you went in the enlisted ranks, you could have the Associate's Degree. It is just the USAF requirements.

Work towards your BSN, in your final year of getting your BSN, see a recruiter and talk about the Nurse Tranistion Program!!! There a good incentives for Nurses since we need them so much.
