WACs in WWII in Presq Isle and Labrador

My mother served in the WAC during WWII in the early 40s. She was stationed at both Presq Isle, Maine and Goose Bay, Labrador. She instructed instrument flying in Link trainers and also briefed/debriefed pilots who were ferrying aircraft "across the pond" to England. She also worked with rudimentary radar services of the period. Does anyone have any information regarding the service of such women in these two locations?
