Need a 40, although it won't qualify you for much when it comes to jobs. A-:

You have to score a 35 or higher. I took the ASVAB and got a 26!!!! I failed and was so close! I am very determined to joing. My math skills are not so great. But good luck to you. My advice is to study a steady pace and give yourself time. Don't just study before the exam at the last minute. I however will be re-taking the exam soon. I need all the luck I can get!

I am using a book called "ASVAB Core Review" By learning express. It's really good. They even give you a disc that grades your exam when you are all done to see if you are ready. It even converts your scrore for you. I like it because I didn't need to study all the other subjects just the four subtests and this book gives you detailed explanations on them. It's small and easy to understand. I have another 3 days to study. I am taking the paper version. I hope I pass.

It isnt possible to "fail" the ASVAB just not get a high enough score for the service or job you want.
