Lackland AFB Basic Training July-Sept of 1969 Flight"69". On to Sheppard AFB Medical Training School and Psych Training. Remember the ice storms in Texas that winter marching to and from the medical school in freezing weather and going to Oklahoma to perform "bivwac" simulated crash training in the worst possible freezing rain and cold?. C rations we traded for so we wouldn't get stuck with the ham and eggs? The bottoms of our low quarters were so cold that they split the leather soles when we tried to warm them on the camp fires? Those were some of the best days of comradery I ever experienced...we gals were something else! Anybody remember Mass at the "coffee house"? Dorm guard duty in the drafty barracks hallways? The Our Father's we sang in the dayroom before retiring for the night. We all went on to different AFSC's I went to Eglin AFB, in Ft. Walton Beach to be a Psych.Tech. I made Sgt later that year. Is there a nurse out there named Becky she went to CamRhan Bay in late 70'. Or Lt.Mays? Linda, who worked the OB-ward? I am still in contact with former Sgt. Sheri Hawn from Eglin she worked the ICU unit...with Lt. Mary Berry. I married Sgt.David Feltenberger since divorced. If you recognize any of these mames and events WRITE Please!

I was scratching my head too ... until I looked at the keyboard and saw that the "F" and "C" are right next door to each other ... so methinks that she knows the difference between a WAC and a WAF and just made a typo?
