On June 24, 1998, I will be shipping out to Fort Leonard Wood, MO forbasic. I am really nervous and am not sure what to expect.**If anyonecould give me the real low down on Basic, I really would appreciate it!

I am really nervous and am not sure what to expect.**If anyonecould give me the real low down on Basic, I really would appreciate it!** It is tough, but I loved it there!**I went there last summer.**It is all a mind game the first few weeks there.**Just beleieve in yourself, and think about all the people who have made it before and you'll do fine!**It's really hot and sticky there.**Work on pt now and by the time you get there it will be a breeze, while you wait for everyone who hasn't jogged in three years to catch up.**You don't get yelled at two inches away from your face as much as you think.**If your not totally 'ate-up' you won't get yelled at like that more than a few times.**But as a whole group, they have all the time in the world to yell at you, just don't take it personal.**And if they are wearing something shiny, call them 'sir', otherwise 'sergeant' is your best bet until you learn the ranks.**Finally, don't talk to the guys there (at least not when the DS are watching).
