I am a 20-yr old college student at CSU. Upon graduation (approx. a yr and 1/2), I plan on going into the military. I want to do 4 yrs of active duty in some field of medicine, THEN go on to Medical School, with one of the branches helping me get through it.**I am very VERY in the dark about which branch to go into. Ive only spoken with a Naval Recruiter, and friends (everyone from Navy S.E.A.L.s to Master Divers to friends in the Special Forces, etc etc). I need info. from someone who did Med School by way of Military, or is currently working in the Medical Service Corp. Also, I want to know why or how people chose one branch over the other. Any info would be great for someone that is in the dark. THANK YOU ALL!

You might contact the Health Education and Readiness Division at Evans Army Hospital, Ft.Carson, CO. Phone (913) 526-7721. Also you might try any of the recruiters from the different branches of service. However, anything they might promise absolutely get in writing. Good luck in your search.**
