Can anyone tell me more about this MOS? Where is the AIT located at? How long is it? Where are you most likely to be stationed? What do you need to score on the ASVAB to get this job? Any info would help.
Thanks Amy

Corrections specialists attend basic and AIT at the MP School at Ft Leonard Wood MO. The training (BT & AIT) is 17 weeks long. The primary places that 95Cs are stationed are the Disciplinary Barrack, Ft Leavenworth, KS; Ft Knox, KY; Ft Sill, OK; Ft Lewis, WA, Korea; and Germany. You have to have an ST of 95 to qualify for this MOS. Check out the MP Sch & Ft L. Wood Web sites @ www.wood.army.mil Hope this helps-what else would you like to know?

Amy I was a corrections specialist and my husband is currently a corrections specialist in the US Army. Basic training and AIT is all done in Fort McCellan Alabama. I went to Basic in July 21 and graduated on November 21. There is no break from Basic and AIT. You will most likely be sent to Fort Leavenworth because they are running both prisons at once right now...they are tearing down the old prison. As a 95C10 you are going to be in charge of inmates of all types medium maxium and minium....as a guard you will be working with male inmates who have nothing better to do than to play mind games with you to get in your pants and to think of ways to escape. The average "work week" is 6 to 7 days on with 1 day off....however during the holliday (X-mas & new years) expect to work 15 or more days on with 1 or 2 days off....I am not lying. Your best bet is to have yourself stationed in an RCF Regional Confinement Facility which is where my husband is working now. I got out of the military after 1yr2mos because I became pregnant. The average military day is 12 to 14 hours long because you have to include PT and training on top of the day of work. E-mail me later if you want to talk to me more about it....my best advise...if your young and unmarried with no children....go 95B and see the world! If you would like to write me my address is : 5473 N. 8th St Fort Lewis WA 98433
