Women in Combat? (research paper)

I am currently writing a research paper for a class. Being in the ROTC program at my school I am interested in womens places in the military. I personally believe that they should be able to participate in combat areas. If anyone has any information/facts concerning why women should or even shouldn't be able in combat positions.
