Direct deposit bank account

Hello,

I am finally almost finished with my enlistment process into the Army Reserve!

I need to get a checking or savings account for the direct deposit pay, nut I'm afraid this may be difficult because I still owe a bank money from an old checking account! I just haven't been able to pay it off yet.

Did anyone else have this kind of problem?

Kevy, that is not a problem. Go to another bank and start another account. Bank of America is one of the more popular banks with the military. They have branches all over and their ATM card is world wide. Just go to your nearest branch with some of your enlistment papers and they may even give you the account for free. Good luck. PS, no I don't belong to BofA my direct deposit goes into a credit union account.
