Does anyone know what is the maximum miles you run at one time during basic training? Also, are you actually running at a high speed or just jogging? Thank you

At basic training, they usually don't have you run more than 2 and a half miles unless you are in the faster run groups. They usually have 3 to 4 running groups. A, B, C, and D. A being the fastest and D being the slowest. I ran in D group my whole time at basic but when I got to AIT it was always company runs. But the company runs are usually paced as fast as the slowest runner. I hope that this helps.

You will usually not run more than 3 and a half miles in the faster running groups. D group is 20 min mile pace, C is 18, B is 16, and A is 14.

Hi! Question? Does this mean it's 20 minutes for one or two miles? Thanks
