I know that we've all had our share of questions pertaining to weight requirements, but I have one more before I leave... Okay, here's the problem, On June 1st I weighed in at MEPS (122 lbs 5'2") and was under the maximum allowed. However, now I weight 134. Its not that I look significantly bigger or went crazy on the cheetos :O) its just that at the time, I was preparing for a tournament in which I needed to weight below 125. In other words, I wasn't really eating very much. Well, I was told that I have to weigh 129 by Aug. 2nd. It's possible for me to lose those few pounds, but is it really necessary? I don't want to cheat myself for the next 7 days since I won't have any sweets for a long time!! Basically, what I'm asking is... will I be given a lot of crap about gaining so much weight? I can still perform at the same level regardless. If anyone has experienced the same thing, i'd love to hear from you. Thanks.
