I am currently entering my senior year of college and am contemplating the possibility of entering the army or a military branch. Currently my boyfriend if a MP in the Marines stationed outside of Washington, D.C. The military has always facinated me and also the fact that i live between two army bases and a air force base (colorado springs)helps also. I wish to move to the east coast next year and possibly go to Penn State for college. I am not sure though if I want to spend the next 4 years sitting in shool again. I am thinking of either college and doing the reserves at the same time or just enlisting and my specialty as a LPN and then finishing my degree after my time. I need advice on which route to go and what the possibilities of staying on the east coast would be.
Thanks, Azucenya

well, azu...if you have a genuine intrest in the military, i'd imagine that whether go go in before or after your second round of college, you still be an officer. so, why not go in as an officer then, re-college while in the army. i think it would be alot cheaper. that's just how i've figured things to be, but you should do alot more research before making a decision, hope i helped at least a little bit.

Keep in mind that if you go into the National Guard (and I think this is true for the reserves also) you can go active full-time if you decide that's the path you want to take. I'm planning on enlising in the Guard as a part-timer, but if I love it and decide it's right for me I will go full-time.
