Apparently, an investigation is being conducted into the matter, and the Army isn't releasing any other details.

It's been reported, but not in the establishment press (like the New York Times) that hailed her promotion to this position, that she has a drinking problem and was having an intimate relationship with a lower-ranking soldier in her command, but apparently her degrees (MA - Business Management; Doctorate - Divinity) were provided to her from degree mills for cash. King's master's degree in business management from Alameda College was granted her for "life experience" and cold, hard cash. And her impressive sounding "doctor of divinity" degree came from the American Institute of Holistic Theology. According to the source above, she never attended or even applied to Liberty University. Both of these "colleges" are unaccredited, and sell diplomas for money. Why is that an issue..? Because enlisted soldiers get credit for advanced degrees, which get them better jobs, schooling and faster promotions. May 4th 2012 CSM King was reinstated as commandant at the drill sergeant school at Fort Jackson in South Carolina, after hiring a civilian lawyer and threatening to start a civil rights suit.
