Default talk to recruiter prior to official discharge

Am I allowed to speak with a Healthcare Officer Recruiter prior to receiving my "official" discharge paperwork from the USAFR? My discharge process is almost 1.5 yrs in the making and just wondering if I can explore the Army opportunities in the meantime.

You might be better off posting this in the Air Force forum. I don't know what rules the Air Force has for those receiving a "discharge", but a "gag order" seems excessive. Having said that, I don't know of any "gag order" in effect for personnel about to be discharged, that wasn't issued by a judge or a commanding officer. In other words, unless you've been ordered not to speak to Healthcare Officer Recruiters, then you should be free to do so.
