The amphibious dock landing ship Gunston Hall was due home from its two-month trip to South and Central America Tuesday. But with an eye on the possibilities posed by the unrest in the greater Mediterranean and particularly Libya, Capt. John Meier added two days of en route training to his crew’s itinerary before docking Thursday afternoon at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story.
