weight and height standards??
My daughter has been in the Navy for two years.
She is concerned that she is going to be put out because she has gained too much muscle mass. The Navy looks at it as her being over the weight limit for her height(they are not measuring her as a half an inch shorter than they did at DLI and Boot Camp). Her neck is thin in comparison to her hip measurments, and she is well endowed.
Her physical fitness is great, she can do 80 pushups and passes all the other pt requirements. She keeps working out, but keeps gaining mass and therefore weight.
she entered the Navy a soft girl and has turned into a strong, hard, and heavy woman.
MY QUESTION, IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THE NAVY WILL, AFTER SPENDING THE MONEY THEY DID TO PUT HER THROUGH DLI, (WHERE SHE GRADUATED AT THE TOP OF HER CLASS) THROW HER OUT OF THE SERVICE OVER A COUPLE OF POUNDS?
IS THIS POSSIBLE A PSYCHOLOGICAL FITNESS TEST TO SEE HOW SHE WITHSTANDS THE STRESS OF A HIGH SECURITY CLEARANCE JOB?
She is concerned that she will be tossed out and lose her college money in addition as her career.
Can anyone help??? Thank you
