JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Coast Guard responded to a disabled motor vessel with 60 people aboard approximately 600-yards east of the Mayport, Fla., Monday.

Operational watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville were notified at 11:44 p.m. Sunday by the operator of the 155-foot motor vessel Jacks or Better Casino, a charter gaming vessel homeported in Mayport, indicating the vessel sustained a loss of propulsion while transiting inbound to Mayport.

A Coast Guard Station Mayport 45-foot rescue boat crew and commercial tugboat responded. The Jacks or Better Casino regained propulsion and arrived safely ashore at 3:10 a.m. Monday.
