Dock-landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52) joined the rest of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Sept. 29 to begin a two-week certification exercise (CERTEX) off the coast of Southern California.
