OCEANSIDE, Calif. — A new environmental study supports the Marine Corps’ plan to expand its desert warfare training center in California by more than 25 percent. The additional acreage would support more air operations, live-fire ordnance training and support exercises, with 15,000 Marines fighting and maneuvering through the Mojave Desert.
