-- WREI (Women's Research and
Education Institute) -- WREI is a small,
non-partisan, non profit group which works on issues of
importance to women. We have a special interest in military women
and women veterans. Through our Women in the Military Project we
work with the government (DoD, Congress, etc), academics, media
representatives, etc. to provide information about and to advance
the cause of military women. We also publish statisitics on
military women, follow developments in countries other than the
US and are happy to share our products with those seeking info on
women in the military. We also work closely with the Department
of Labor Veterans Training and Employment Service to increase
employment opportunities for women veterans.
