Capt. Jon Chase USMC probably retired as a Gen.  Stationed at Kaneohe Marine Corp Air Station in 1970 - 71.  I served under Capt. Chase and would like to locate him if possible.  I believe Capt. Her last known, to me, duty station was Tustin and she was with the MALS Avionics division, WC 69B. If I remember correctly, her last known EAS would be in the spring of 1996. Robin is about 5"3' 130 at the time we went to bootcamp in August of 1983. We went on the buddy program but got seperated half way through. She is an African-American. We went to high school together and became close friends. But lost contact a couple of years after bootcamp. We were in Platoon 20A. Had SSgt Skinner, Sgt O'Neil and Sgt Kemper as our drill instructors. She was always nice to me and I think of her often. She is from Paterson, New Jersey and went to Eastside HS. This Marine was our recruiter back in Chicago, IL in 1990 near Lake View High School. He was a SGT at the time but was promoted a few years back. He went on to Drill Instructor's Duty at MCRD, San Diego. He is married and has three children. We have lost contact with him a while ago and we would like to know how he is doing. I am a former Navy Hospital Corpsman who served under Lt. Commander Rosenquist on the Neurology/neurosurgery unit at Great Lakes Naval Hospital. She was orientating to the ward at Philadelphia Naval Hospital where I was a patient after being wounded in Viet Nam. If it wasn't for this lovely officer being there after my surgery I would have been addicted to drugs. I never got the chance to say thanks due to being told shortly thereafter that I was being medically discharged at age 21 due to not being able to do the duties of a corpsman. At 21 it was very hard for me to accept since I had planned on making the Navy a career. I have regretted over the years in losing touch with this fine lady and would like your assistance, at least in letting her know that I made the adjustment to civilian life. My name is Heather Perreault, I am looking for Ninett (Paredes) Soulet. We were both Cpl's in the USMC. We went to bootcamp in Sept. of 1989, from there we went to MOS school @ Camp Lejeune. We were separated when we were sent to our first official duty station, she went to Oki, I went to MCAS Iwakuni. We were overseas from Mar. 1990 until the fall of 1991. We were then reunited at SMU-OPS @ Camp Pendleton. We both separated from the military in Sept. of 1993. She remained in Oceanside, CA with her family, then briefly moved to Slydell,LA (1996) She moved from LA, and I have lost her.
