My name was Betsy Laws, (Brunner-Rule), I served in the USN from 1978 thru 1981. I served at Dahlgren, VA and Pearl Harbor , HI. In HI I became best friends with a storekeeper Dianne MCCormmick-Duarte, in 1981 she was a sk3. We both worked for PSC Pearl Harbor. She later served in the Phillipines, Washington state, and the last I know of Japan around 1989. Sometime around that year she married a school teacher from Washington State and left for Japan. I went to Navy boot camp with SR Tara Morris in Orlando, FL in July, August and September of 1994. We were in company I138, she was the RCPO and I was the Starboard Watch. My wife and I knew Cathy Wilhemy when we served together at the Navy Hospital on Guam. I heard later that she was with a medical support group that went into a 90% or better Viet Cong controlled area in Vietnam. We would like to find out if she is alive?
